Is CrossFit for me?

“I’m not competing in any sports, I’m pretty healthy and I’m active enough to do what I want to do. Do I really need CrossFit?” Quite simply our answer is YES!! The health benefits are proven and by doing CrossFit you will have a better quality of life.

CrossFit will give you better level of health and fitness and could even help you survive an emergency situations.  You never know what the world around us will bring and we must be prepared for whatever comes our way.  Wouldn’t you feel better if you knew you where better prepared to run, jump, climb or be able to lift and carry somthing or some one to safety should you find yourself in a bad situation?

But, maybe you’re thinking “This won’t happen to me… I’ve made it this far in life.” Of course you don’t think any of that will happen to you.  But what if it did?  But maybe it won’t so you don’t need CrossFit, right?  Well, what about the physical demands placed on you everyday?  How about playing with your kids or grandkids, running to catch a bus, yard work, house work, shopping and other everyday tasks that could be much easier and more enjoyable with a fitness base that CrossFit provides.

CrossFit is an inclusive program that provides broad, general fitness and is perfect for everyone, regardless of age or ability. Since classes are short they fit easily into your busy schedule.  A coach/trainer will lead each class to ensure you’re performing the movements correctly. You will also never have to wonder “What am I going to do today the gym?” Each day we will post the WOD (workout of the day) that everyone will be doing that day.  Workouts are always scalable to your ability and training goals.  So don’t worry if you think something looks too hard, or it’s a movement you’re not familiar with, we’ll be there to help you suceed.  Classes are intense and constantly varied, so come prepared to work and have fun getting fit.
