CrossFit For Women

Monday thru Fridays at 10:15 am is our LADIES ONLY CrossFit Class.

Why do we offer this you say…
Do women need a different kind of CrossFit than men? NO
If I’m a woman, should I “only” attend this class? NO
Is this class not as “hard” as the regular CrossFit IoTA classes? NO
The answers is….because women have asked for it! So we’re giving it to you.

Our women’s class is not a watered down or “scaled” version of CrossFit. It is in no way different than any of our other CrossFit class. It is just “a little something special” for women to work out together in a fun, encouraging, “girls only” atmosphere (except for the coach). We highly encourage all of our female athletes to attend our regular classes as well as this class.

CrossFit training isn’t just for guys.  It won’t make you huge – women actually can’t get very big without supplements.  Here is a short list of a few benefits of CrossFit training, that applying especially to women;

Increased and restored bone mineral density to combat osteoporosis
Increased lean body mass (lean being the key word here gals!)
Increased balance, coordination and confidence
Increased metabolic rate (burn more calories when you’re not working out)
Increased performance in everything you do (climbing stairs, picking up your kids or groceries and walking the dog. Plain and simple just being better at life.)
Age gracefully (strong muscles build a strong body)
Feel better & look better (reduc your overall body fat and gives you more energy)
